No Monkey Business With Aaron Kaufman Anymore, Bearded Wonder Is Leaving Gas Monkey Garage For Good!

The next season of “Fast N’ Loud” will be without one of their most iconic stars, Aaron Kaufman. Yep, you heard right: after 13 long years, the bearded wonder is officially leaving Gas Monkey Garage.

One of reality television greatest bromances is apparently coming to an end as Fast N’ Loud star Richard Rawlings has confirmed that Aaron Kaufman is leaving Gas Monkey Garage.

“As you may have heard by now, the Bearded Wonder has decided to leave Gas Monkey Garage,” Richard wrote in a post on Gas Monkey Garage site. “Aaron has been a part of Gas Monkey Garage since day one, and it will be a painstaking process moving forward without his talents,” he adds.

While no reason has been given for Kaufman’s departure, Richard Rawlings took to Gas Monkey’s website to announce his leaving. Richard made it clear that Aaron was not dismissed and that how he was shocked at the decision.

“And to Aaron, I would like to sincerely express my appreciation for the 13 years you put into GMG. We worked long and hard from the bottom to the top. Not everyday was good, and we had our share of disagreements, but it has been a hell of a ride and I would not change a minute of it. Neither of us could have achieved this without the other. Thank You, Sir.”

For Fast N Loud, this is not the first Monkey to take flight. It seems that each year has seen the departure of multiple staff members. The spin-off show, Misfit Garage, was originally staffed entirely by former Gas Monkey employees.
When reached for comment, Discovery Channel has nothing but positives to say about Kaufman. Also in their statement was a hint that Kaufman might end up in a future network project. With his experience, he is a natural.

“Aaron has chosen to make this season of Fast N’ Loud his last. He has been a valued member of the Discovery family for over 5 years. We wish him the best and hope to continue to work with him. Stay tuned.”

A change in work scenery and environment can do wonders. Most fans were completely fine with this future and believed with complete confidence that Aaron wouldn’t stop what he loved and impressing everyone with it regardless where he worked and who he worked with.
