800 Horsepower Hellcat Challenger Destroys Everything In Front Of Him

- in Cars

Here we have a classic drag race between some of the most powerful modern muscle cars at the moment.

We’re dealing with two of the most infamous sedans you can currently find in a showroom, namely a 2015 Cadillac CTS-V and a 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat.

Under the hood the CTS-V is equipped with a Supercharged General Motors 6.2 liter, 376 cubic-inch LSA small-block V8 engine. This engine produces 556 horsepower and 551 lb.-ft. of torque. The Cadillac is pure stock and it has 6-speed manual Tremec TR-6060 transmission.

On the other side, the 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hemi Hellcat, powered by a Supercharged Chrysler’s 6.2 liter or 370 cubic-inch SRT HEMI Hellcat small-block V8 engine. This engine generates 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque and it has ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. This particular Hellcat is equipped with drag radials and has some minor modifications, which boost the engine power up to 800 horsepower.

As you can see, the Cadillac crosses the 1/4 mile mark in just 13.32 seconds at speed of 115 mph. On the other side the 800 horsepower Hellcat passes the 1/4 mile in just 10.38 seconds at speed of 133 mph, which in fact is really quick. Although the 2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe is stock, his 1/4 mile time is pretty impressive. At the end, this race would be a lot more interesting if the Cadillac also had some modifications.
