750HP 2011 Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake

Everybody knows that the most bad ass Mustang on the road is the GT500.
Everybody also knows the most bad ass GT500 is the Shelby Super Snake.
Sometimes factory stock is not enough, especially for Shelby Automobiles engineers.
This is a 2011 Shelby GT500 Super Snake with the all-aluminum 5.4 liter engine and a Whipple supercharger cranking out 750 horsepower.
The Super Snake package improves on the GT500 platform with six piston bear breaks at all wheels, carbon fiber body pieces, even higher performance suspension upgrades.
Oh yeah and did I mention the horsepower, right?
This car has astonishing 750. This Shelby is loud, and like a pair of snakeskin cowboy boots – inclined to attract attention wherever it goes.
Any street legal production car who strike quarter mile in less than 11 second and goes from 0 to 60 in less than 4 second deserve respect. Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake reach that numbers easy.

This bad ass car relieves the 750 horses twists out 719 ft. lbs. of torque at 4,200 rpm through cat-back exhaust system fabricated by Borla and put all that power on the ground through 6-speed transmission with a short-throw shifter and a 3.73:1 rear-axle ratio and richly polished 10-spoke 20-inch Shelby-Alcoa forged-aluminum wheels.

Shelby’s Super Snake is all about unbridled fun, but like any well-equipped predator, commands respect, and, as with its venomous reptilian counterparts, care must be exercised in handling.
All that power can be a real problem for insufficiently experienced drivers, but good thing is that the Super Snake comes with excellent brakes.
In this case, a quartet of six-piston Shelby/Baer calipers and large vented 14-in. rotors – one at each corner of the car. This setup provides for a 60-0 stopping distance of only 114.4 ft. – not bad for a nearly 4000-pound rocket sled.

Overall, Mustang GT500 Shelby Super Snake delivers a balanced combination of acceleration and top end.
