Easy Tire Cutting and Grooving CHAINSAW – Redneck Style !

Tire regrooving is a great way to extend the life of your tires. Especially if you have large deep tread tires that can take a regrooving well.

This guy has decided another way grooving his truck tires by cutting them with a Chainsaw.  When his swampers got a little low on tread, this guy used a unique method that entails using a chainsaw to cut into his tires to make them a little bit more useful.

This home DIYer goes ahead and uses a chainsaw rather than a standard re-grooving tool.It seems quite reasonable when you consider that rubber like this runs $400 a piece. While the uploader doesn’t cut down to the cords, we would still imagine that this method diminishes structural integrity.

However video below  proof that a chainsaw works well for more than just cutting down trees.

Grinder, skilsaw, chainsaw. All require a pretty steady hand and make for a good show. Grooving iron always works too. Go try out that new chainsaw you bought last week!!!!!
