Dodge Teams Up With ‘The Fate Of The Furious’ For a New Promotional Campaign

It is no secret that the 8th installation in the Fast and Furious movie series – titled The Fate of the Furious – will be chock full of Dodge vehicles.

Dodge teaming up with ‘The Fate of the Furious’ isn’t all that much of a surprise. After all, Dodge vehicles have been featured prominently in various trailers and television spots for the eighth installment of the Fast & Furious franchise.

“Fast Dodge cars, adrenaline-filled action and family have fueled the Fast & Furious franchise from the beginning,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Car Brands – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA-North America. “For more than 15 years, the Fast & Furious series has showcased some of the world’s most iconic and significant performance vehicles, and The Fate of the Furious will continue this tradition.”

This new commercial – titled Muscle Heaven – starts by showing several cast members from The Fate of the Furious approaching a secure warehouse door and when that door opens, we see an incredible spread of high performance Dodge products with some familiar Dodge brand emblems mounted on the wall.

The Dodge Demon logo is featured prominently in the commercial, adding fuel to rumors that the brand new performance model will appear on screen during the movie around the same time as its official debut at the New York International Auto Show.

The 30-second spot primarily features the 2017 Dodge Challenger and before you wonder if it’s the Demon, it’s likely not.

Now, that screencap from the ad is admittedly pretty blurry, so it might be easy to conclude the vehicle in the commercial and the vehicle seen during Diesel’s video aren’t the same. However, there’s no denying the similarities once we get a good look at the alleged Demon at the end of the advertisement.

Keep a look out for all of the Dodge vehicles, perhaps including the long-awaited Dodge Demon, when The Fate of the Furious hits theaters on April 14.
