1969 Camaro Z/28 Converted Into Slot Car Track

Remember slot car racing? We do.

I had a pretty big slot car racing set when I was younger that had several Muscle Cars like the Corvette, Camaro, and Mustang not to mention a few classic cars like the 1957 Chevy.

Unfortunately I never had a set that even came close to the Slot Mods Muscle Cars racing set that sits a top remake of the blue Sunoco 1969 Roger Penske Camaro.

The ‘Glen and it’s iconic blue armco barriers, period-correct signage, banners, bridges and structures, are spread over a true all-steel bodied 1969 Z/28 Camaro, and wears the livery of the iconic #6 Roger Penske/Sunoco car, which Mark Donohue drove in the Trans-Am series of the 1960s. The Camaro is accurate right down to the Penske Blue paint and ultra-rare Minilite wheels and racing tires.

Former race car driver Bobby Rahal commissioned this awesome 1969 Camaro-turned-slot-car-track. It wears the famous Roger Penske/Sunoco livery, and Bob Donaues number, a real trip down memory lane for fans of racing both big and small.

I always really liked this old racing Camaro, and could imagine having my own recreation of it parked in my garage with this ultra cool matching Slot Mods ‘69 Camaro parked next to it!
